Setting
[Year]:
Its the year eighteen hundred ninety two, the year of the blood moon.

[Season]:

Spring
The season of joy has rolled around, but something is not right. There is no sunshine, only small rays escaping from gray clouds. The flowers' and trees' development is far behind. There is no color to this spring time land. Only gray faded light. Storms come often, overflowing streams, lakes, and ponds. Tension is rising steadily and there is the feel of battle in the air.
[Forum Wide Plot]:
(June 11 - July 18)

Year eighteen hundred ninety two; Year of the Blood Moon.
The skies are no longer blue, there is no longer the bright rays of sun beaming down through the trees. We're lucky if there is one ray fighting its way through black clouds. The mist is growing, strange sounds can be heard in the west. Tracks with only two feet I have found in the black forest. The rogues are quiet, too quiet. An evil omen has filled the air, and tension levels are at their highest. Wolves have been found dead or wounded with small holes in the body. Boundaries have been broken, the treaty is at stake. Parlem is on the edge of a blade, the blade of Chaos..." - Summit.

[One month before present day:]
Something is amiss in a human village outside of Verno. They are filled with anger and hate. A human babe went missing, its blood trail leading to the border. The kind of Verno were blamed, and thus hunted. Their mist and cities kept them safe. The leader met with the human, and explained that they thought human blood to be unholy, a curse. The packs of Verno had lived in peace with the outside villages in the past. The humans rethought their blame. Human hunters have turned their eyes the two other regions, Myu and Ryou. They set out as soon as possible, sending word ahead using captive wolves. The rogues gathered together to meet the hunters, and see what advantages this new bond might bring.

[Present Day]:
3 wolves dead with a hole through the skull, 2 headless, and another 2 chewed to pieces. Terror is gripping the land, causing chaos. Fear has its suffocating grip fastened on all. Humans and rogues have joined together for one common purpose: To destroy the unity and peace. The borders between Myu and Ryou have been broken, the two types come in contact with each other. The treaty of boundaries has been broken.

**Wolves from different types can intermingle on other area boards and such. If you have permission from an Alpha, you can enter the territory of the other type of wolf. I need volunteers to be humans + rogues. You don't have to type up some fancy bio, just message me something, and I'll make a place to put it :D hope you like to forum wide plot.

Things I hold sacred, you held dear(Star/open)

An unearthly fog spread across the land, one cloud seemed to multiply until for miles the ground could not be seen. Grey visionaries searched the blood red horizon for signs of life. The sun was rising over the land spilling light across the Black body that was Misery. The smell of smoke lingered about being blown in every direction by a cool breeze that ruffled her sleek black fur. Paw by paw she gracefully carried herself across the wasteland. She could almost feel the heat beneath her paws as she moved, she created a mental image of what had happened here. She had such a good imaginations she could smell the smoke. Her tail was raised slightly, her posture was not submissive no was it dominant. This land did not belong to anyone, it didn't seem like a very good place to live anyway. It was open a dangerous place. There was little chance of seeing an enemy before it saw you and Misery was not at all alert at this moment. However, she was very unafraid. The girl usually did well on her own and there was no reason for her to fear. Or she didn't think there was anyway.

The light poured over her body and her Black pelt shimmered, it's dark blue tint was obvious in the light and matched her bright blue eyes. They were a deep aqua and they peered through thick dark rims. Harks were pressed against her dark cranium making it obvious that she was an easy target. It was almost a dare for something or someone to attack her, she hated stupid canines. Misery stopped in the middle of the waste land and gave the area a quick scan before sitting. Muscles bulged when she shifted her weight onto them and lowered her rump to the ground and wrapped her tail neatly around her delicate looking frame.

Ebony canvas absorbed the sunlight and it's heat, it warmed and smothered her. Thank god for the soothing spring winds that ran their fingers through her fur and cooled her, her powerful jaws parted separating her black lips. Her pink tongue poked through her shining white canines and hung from her mouth. Saliva dripped from her dangling tongue and with each shallow breath her sides rose and fell. She was not waiting for anyone in particular just maybe some excitement. Who knew who or what would stumble upon her.

Windstar padded over the desolate earth. Her black coat taking in the heat, her piercing blue eyes scanning the land as she passed through. The ground here was burnt to a crisp long ago and it was still so eerie. she was on edge because this place was one where rouges came.

The ground was cracked pieces of rock everywhere. trees no longer existed here but old burnt dead trees were everywhere. For there was no water or anything here to sustain life. There was no where to hide or run if anything where to attack her. She left Firestar back in the pack lands for this reason. Something about this area worried her but it was probably only because of what happened here and what this place looks like.

As her eyes scanned this dreary place. They rested on a black figure moving before her. It was another wolf. could it be a rouge she thought. She slowly approached the animal with caution. Here ears on alert just in case. As the wolf came into view she asked. Who's there?

All was peaceful but it wasn't long until all of that changed. The sound of an unfamiliar voice rang out from behind her. She didn't bother to flinch, not at all. For a moment she sat there trying to remember what the fae had said. She didn't forget she just hadn't been paying attention. Her head turned slowly to face the ebon' matron, Sea blue eyes shifted from nothingness to her dark facade. Saliva drip from her tongue and soaked into the dry cracked ground below her. Harks flicked forward to listen to any more words that might escape her black muzzle.

It took her no time at all to come up with a response, she simply held it back. Visionaries filled with curiosity she lifted her rump and turned the rest of her slenderly built frame to face the dark female that stood in the distance, muscles bulged with each movement. She took a step or two forward before stopping. Mainly because she realized the lady was worried. Not without good reason either, there was a doom about the lands. None of it bothered her one bit it just simply made things a bit harder to survive. Misery never thought she'd find herself in the middle of anything though. Of course making things harder for her was a bit irksome, oh well.

She stopped and stood there watching the black wolfess with an empty blue gaze. After a few moments, her tongue slid black into her mouth and words began to pour past her blackened lips. " There is no one, here is Misery, and you are?" Her tone was not at all respectful and yet it was not at all disrespectful. She simply did not like the way she had phrased her question. Jaws shut again and her dark crown tilted slightly as she waited for the words to flow in return.

Windstar listened into the wind awaiting an answer. When the reply of this strange she-wolf reached her ears she barley heard it. She walked closer to this wolf ears on alert not sure if she was a rouge or not but for a strange reason she felt this wolf posed no threat to her. Besides there is no reason to fight unless she is a rouge or she attacks me first. She stopped about 5 feet away from her and watched carefully before answering. My name is Windstar leader of the Shouari pack. Might I ask why you are here in this desolate place she asked curiously watching her awaiting an answer. Then she sat back on her haunches which was uncomfortable for the ground was still hot and rocky but she ignored it

I regarded the world as such a sad sight
Until I viewed it in black and white
Then I reviewed every frame and basic shape
And sealed the exits with caution tape

Aqua pools narrowed as the fae's frame drew closer, she seemed so frightened. On most days Misery would take it as a compliment, however, this poor canine had no reason to fear her. Some alpha she was, afraid of a poor little vix like this? Wingless and small. Ebonite hindquarters dropped quickly as she watched the small shadowy physique of her new acquaintance came even closer. At a safe distance the fae stopped again. Misery simply scoffed at this cowardice little girl. Even if Misery had wanted a fight this pathetic pup was not a thing she'd waste her time attacking, and Misery wouldn't bother attacking without reason anyway. Then again she was right to be cautious, but she thought she'd made it very clear she was no threat. If Misery wanted this dog dead, she'd already be dead. A grin slipped across her charcoal muzzle as she let her sweet voice drip from it." A pleasure. I am simply waiting, why are you here?"

As unfriendly as she could sometimes be, this was a particularly nice day for Misery and so she made an attempt at fueling the conversation. Typically wolves saw those of their own gender as competition, Misery did not. She saw other females as females, there to produce pups to be either taken care of or raised to help take care of. It simply depended on the situation, if she was in a pack that needed members, then pups were helpful. However, it times were tough then females and there pups were simply a burden. A waste of her useful time, but this fae was not in her pack, in fact Misery was not yet in a pack. This vix would be a more useful ally and if that didn't work out it was most likely she was one of the dumb ones that would eventually just kill themselves off with stupidity. Until then Misery believed in given each new acquaintance a fair trial.

Don't refocus your eyes in the darkness
And don't remember this place unless
I describe all the things that you cannot see
And we'll unravel the mystery

Windstar just watched the she wolf with curious eyes. She allowed her touge to loll out the side of her mouth in a wolfy grin. She dipped her head and replied to the wolfs question Just wandering not really going to a specific location she answered happily. Then she stood walking closer in more of a trot as she neared the wolf she slowed and came to where there was a foot of space between them and she stopped and lowered her rump into a sit then laid down. The ground was uncomfortable dry and cracked so she quickly righted herself she sat up

She had had time for her nerves to calm down and was now in no hurry to move on and had no reason to be weary. She just watched and listened. This place still had a erie ring to it and she was still on guard listening into the wind for any sign of rouges and danger.

Misery was not at all afraid of where she was. Rogues didn't bother her, and so long as they left her alone she was fine with them. Of course rogues did not leave others be so a fight was likely. In which case Misery was fully confident of her abilities to defend herself. Ontop of that she had no pack to protect no one dragging her down and with that said she had never been in love, nor had she ever once cared for another. However, she did understand that whatever was good for the pack was good for her and used this as a reason to do what she needed to do to survive. A little motivation can go a long way. Misery was not nervous, frightened, unhappy. Infact the dark matron was quite the opposite and in a rather friendly mood. The terrain played no part in what little discomfort there was for Misery, the heat was a bit of the problem but not enough to really bother her. As the new fae spoke she gave a nod, there was no snappy irritation and the fae had seemed to collect herself and push away her uneasiness. This was a good sign, this would prevent Misery from becoming more irritated and allow her to try and spark a conversation.

" Have you been in this land long? You are alphess, no? I assume you were born here?"The smooth lyrics poured from her dark lips. Clearly she was speaking of the whole land, not just the place most referred to as the burnt plains. As the words left her lips all fell silent and there was a peaceful stillness once more. Only to have the silence broken once more by the response that Misery now waited patiently for.
